About
Dr. Gakhal graduated from New York University, College of Dentistry in 2006. He was born in Brampton, Ontario and completed his undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Hamilton. He completed a one-year residency at VA Medical Center in Buffalo, New York and moved back to Canada in 2007. He practiced dentistry with Dr. Edward Gelfand in Guelph ever since that time and is now a full partner at Dawson Dental – Cambridge. Continuing education is important to Dr. Gakhal, he has completed additional training courses in Cosmetic Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Invisalign Invisible Braces, Dental Implant placement, restoration and bone grafting. Dr. Gakhal is a member of the American and Canadian Dental Associations. Rick is married to Rani, a dental hygienist, and they reside in Mississauga. In his spare time he enjoys information technology, science fiction reading, playing hockey, football and basketball.
