Dr. Gary Ackerman

Hi, I am Dr. Gary Ackerman. I grew up in Lodi, California and graduated from Loma Linda University of Dental in 1986. I then came to the Sacramento area and established this practice in Carmichael/Sacramento. It has been my home ever since, and I love it! My philosophy in my dental office is to give the best possible care to my patients. I am conservative in my approach to dental care and want the patient to be comfortable at all times. When you come into my office, I want you to enjoy it here as much as I do. One of my passions is being a part of the community. I am involved in the Sacramento District Dental Society, on the Board of Managers at CDA Presents, and a Board Member of the California Dental Association and CDA Cares. I find networking and continuing education very rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been offered by being a part of these institutions. I have two great children; Taylor is my son and Nikki is my daughter. My kids are my first priority and I am very proud of them. In the winter, we ski and snowboard in Tahoe as much as our schedules allow. In the summer, we like to camp and take the boat out on the lake. As long as we are together, we are having a good time!
