Our Practice was originally founded in Charlottesville in 1953, by Dr. Howard Watkins. Since that that time, it was under the name of Dr. Thomas Starkey, as Starkey Family Dentistry, and as of 2014, HIllcrest Dental under ownership of Dr. Ryan M. Buckwalter. Hillcrest is a general dental office for patients of all ages, and focuses on comprehensive care. We offer a wide array of services beyond general dentistry, including cosmetics, implants solutions, and adult orthodontics.
