Meet Dr. Lazar! Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Lazar attended the prestigious Old Dominion university where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then went on to achieve his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is proud to serve the Cheyenne community with exceptional dental care through a personalized, comprehensive approach. With over 25 years of experience in owning and managing successful private practices, Dr. Lazar has advanced clinical skills that range from complex restorative procedures to orthodontics to implant placement and restoration. But his real passion lies in the art of aesthetic, cosmetic dentistry – creating smiles that dazzle and delight! It is important to him that each patient receives a smile they deserve, and one that will make them smile for years to come. As a private pilot, Dr Lazar has used his skills to provide dental services to the remote Tangier Island located in the Chesapeake Bay. And that’s not all – he’s also flown on a mission trip to Jamaica with the Flying Dentist Association, bringing back vital information that help coordinate the Virginia Commonwealth University Jamaica Project. This project was so successful, it was adopted by numerous other dental schools to provide dental students with experience and underserved areas. Dr. Lazar is just not a dental superstar and pilot extraordinaire – he’s also an accomplished skydiver and marathon runner, having completed the Marine Corp marathon, Richmond Marathon, and Shamrock Marathon. These days, he and his wife enjoy more grounded activities on their Wyoming ranch, where they love to go hiking, fishing, and rockhounding. Dr. Lazar also has a talent for creating gemstone handled knives – talk about a man of many talents!
