Dr. Kapil Kella

Dr. Kapil Kella grew up in Saginaw Michigan and attended the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), where he earned his undergraduate degree in brain, behavior, and cognitive sciences. He then moved to New Jersey to obtain his master’s degree in biomedical sciences. After getting his master’s, he returned to his home state where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy. After dental school, Dr. Kella completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. During his residency, Dr. Kella fell in love with the city of Chicago and decided to make it his home. He’s excited to build his family and his practice in such a wonderful place. He also gained an interest in surgical procedures and dental implants while attending his one-year residency. Dr. Kella completed a fellowship in Implantology at the California Implant Institute (CII) in collaboration with the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He continues to pursue Advanced Implant training at CII. He is a certified Invisalign® provider and prides himself on staying up-to-date on current practices by reading journals and attending continuing education courses. When he’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Kella spending time with his fiancée, playing basketball, enjoying restaurants, exploring events around Chicago, and whipping up some of his famous salsa.
