Dr. Jodie Dorj

Dr. Jodie Dorj discovered her passion for dentistry at a very young age, shaped by her own personal journey with a rare enamel disorder that made her teeth highly sensitive and prone to breakage. Frequent visits to the dental office gave her a unique perspective on patient care and ultimately inspired her lifelong mission to help others improve their oral health and achieve confident, healthy smiles. Having experienced dental challenges firsthand, Dr. Dorj brings a deep sense of compassion and empathy to her practice, always striving to ensure her patients feel understood, comfortable, and supported throughout their care. She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Dorj gained valuable experience working in head and neck cancer clinical research at Northwestern Medical Center, where she developed a strong appreciation for the connection between oral health and overall wellness. She later earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, where she received comprehensive training in both preventive and restorative dental care. Dr. Dorj is dedicated to providing patient-centered dentistry that emphasizes trust, communication, and individualized treatment planning. She takes the time to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns and goals, ensuring they feel involved and informed every step of the way. Her approach combines clinical precision with a gentle touch, creating a positive and reassuring experience for patients of all ages. She believes that dentistry is not only about treating teeth, but also about building lasting relationships and helping patients feel confident in their smiles. Her favorite part of being a dentist is connecting with people from all walks of life. She genuinely enjoys learning about her patients’ stories, backgrounds, and experiences, which allows her to provide more personalized and meaningful care. Outside of the office, Dr. Dorj continues to value personal growth and maintaining a balanced lifestyle, which reflects her belief in overall well-being as an important part of long-term oral health.
