By far the best dentist I have been too!

Place was clean, looked nice, only had one concern with the receptionist that she didn't do her job per getting me my receipt for my cash credit deal had to ask 4 time in 2 visits , she forgot on the first visit. So I asked the next day right at the beginning of my appointment, had my procedure done and slobbering myself I asked again. She told me the ink ran out of the printer, so I asked her to email me the receipt she said yes.. got home checked no email. Checked in the morning no email. Was really upset with the way she handled my business. Not sure if I would recommend this place.

Definitely, I would go there next time. Good communication and good treatment.

I recently visited Smilehaven Dental Center and had a fantastic experience! The staff were friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the modern technology used during my treatments.

The whole dental team was great! The receptionist was very kind and helpful, the X-ray technician was very efficient and thorough, and the dental hygienist was so attuned to my sensitivities and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Chan quickly and expertly noted all the issues with my teeth and I was out the door with a plan and next appointment.

Dr. Chan has been our family dentist for over 35 yrs. With his retirement in the future, I has to find another dentist. The dental office I was referred to by my dental insurance was awful. I spent over $1800 for a toothache & teeth cleaning with a recommendation to schedule extraction of my molar with their Oral Surgeon for another $900. I asked for a second opinion from Dr. Chan of Smilehaven in La Mesa. Dr. Chan was able to fit me with a crown so my molar did not need to be extracted. Excellent dental service.

This was the best dentist experience I've ever had. They really cared about helping making it more comfortable and Dr Chan cares about your whole well being. They also did a good job of communicating and getting me in and out.
