Dr. Nazli Majd

Dr. Nazli received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating Magna Cum Laude (including top of her class) in 2016 from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry USC. You’ll be surprised to learn that, before discovering her true passion is dentistry, she also achieved a BS and master’s in environmental engineering and a master’s in marine environmental biology. She was drawn to dentistry because it’s multidisciplinary and she’s able to treat and interact with people all day to build strong relationships. Understanding that many people delay or avoid dentistry due to anxiety or fear, Dr. Nazli is ardent about providing care with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Everyone deserves a beautiful healthy smile, and Dr. Nazli feels that there should be nothing that stands in your way. As a pre-clinical instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Dr. Nazli shares her love of minimally invasive esthetic, restorative, and surgical treatments. Her other passion is, of course, her family. She and Peyman, an industrial/ aerospace/astronautical engineer, have two children – sons Pasha and Nico – and a puppy named Io. Spending time with family and friends is always at the top of the list, but when she has a bit of alone time, Dr. Nazli loves to do yoga, swim, read, bake, express herself artistically … and study more about dentistry.
