Dr. Greg Ray

Dr. Greg Ray is a pre-eminent cosmetic dentist whose specialty is transforming teeth into terrific smiles. Based in Manhattan Beach and currently serving the South Bay area, he previously practiced in Manhattan, New York on the Upper East Side for an upscale clientele. Prior to New York Dr. Ray ran a successful practice in San Diego, California for over a decade. He studied dentistry at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ray is licensed to practice dentistry in both New York and California, and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Since he holds certification as a trainer for (CEREC) same day dentistry, he can create and insert custom-designed ceramic dental restorations in just one visit making temporary crowns and multiple visits a thing of the past. He is also a new product and technology evaluator for Clinical Research Associates which gives him the opportunity to try the newest innovations in dentistry. While apprenticing with the official dentist of the Miss California pageant, Dr. Ray began honing his skills as a top-notch practitioner who is particularly adept at keeping patients relaxed and treating them like family. Voted one of San Diego’s top dentists by San Diego Magazine for eight years in a row and with a decade of exclusively five-star ratings via Yelp from his patients, Dr. Ray takes great pride in helping his patients achieve their best dental health ever. When his not in the dental office, Dr. Ray loves paddle boarding and snowboarding, but mostly he enjoys spending time with his wife Nicola and his boys Greyson and Christopher.

I am skilled in all areas of dentistry but I love cosmetic cases, implant cases, and full mouth rehabilitations.

What are you proud of in your practice?

We have the best technology in our office. 3D x-rays, scanners, milling machines to make crowns and bridges in one appointment. We routinely take 4 times the level of education required to maintain our licenses.

I love treating cosmetic veneer cases. They make a huge impact in people's lives. It changes their personality so dramatically!
