Dr. Dan Auprix

Dr. Dan Auprix graduated with an Honours in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ottawa. During this time, he also completed studies in Biological Sciences at INSA in Lyon, France. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. Before becoming the owner of Morrisburg Dental, Dr. Auprix gained a wide variety of experiences that have helped him excel in his field. He completed a general hospital residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, with rotations in Emergency General Dentistry, Special Needs Dentistry, and Pediatric Dentistry. He loves using his skills to make a difference and also volunteers abroad, most recently in Sri Lanka treating a wide variety of patients and complex dental cases. Dr. Auprix takes a professional, yet personalized approach to dentistry. He was born and raised in Ottawa and believes that adding the local touch is an important part of dental care. He focuses on creating patient relationships and taking the time to educate each person about the best options for them and their family. At the end of the day, his goal is to make you feel more comfortable and informed about your teeth and smile. Dr. Auprix enjoys traveling and exploring new places. When he’s not at work, you can find him playing the piano or eating out at a local restaurant. He is a big sports fan and often gets side-tracked talking about his favorite teams; the Ottawa Senators and Liverpool FC.
