Dr. Alan Lavian is a UCLA-trained general dentist with advanced training in oral surgery, implant dentistry and comprehensive patient care. He completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical Center and an ADA-approved oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center/R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, building a strong foundation in surgical, restorative and medically complex dental care. In addition to comprehensive general dentistry, Dr. Lavian provides advanced treatment including emergency dental care, complex extractions, wisdom-tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, alveoplasty, crown lengthening and gum grafting. His experience also includes full-mouth rehabilitation and All-on-X full-arch implant treatment, helping patients restore comfortable function, confidence and a healthy smile. Our office welcomes same-day emergency appointments and walk-ins whenever availability permits, so patients with tooth pain, swelling, broken teeth, infections or dental trauma can receive prompt evaluation and treatment. Dr. Lavian also offers oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide to help patients feel calm and comfortable throughout care. A former Captain in the U.S. Army National Guard Medical Department, Dr. Lavian brings precision, professionalism and a compassionate, patient-first approach to every visit.
