Dr. Iacovino graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in biochemistry, and received numerous awards from the university. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Toronto and has continued to augment his education with a special emphasis on restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. To remain at the leading edge of dentistry, Dr. Iacovino has also completed a medical emergencies course at the University of Toronto and has traveled to the United States to further his knowledge of the use of dental lasers. After finishing numerous oral surgery and endodontics courses, Dr. Iacovino began restoring implants and has continued to do so since 2006. He has also successfully completed a year-long implant placement residency program at his alma mater. Dr. Iacovino places and restores Straumann dental implants. Dr. Iacovino is a proud member of several dental associations, organizations and clubs including: Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario Ontario Dental Association (ODA) Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club Canadian Dental Association (CDA) In his spare time, Dr. Iacovino enjoys spending time with his family and makes a point of staying physically active. When he is not in the office, you can find him skiing down some snowy slopes, playing a friendly game of golf or tennis or enjoying a leisurely run outside.
