Dr. Swati Shinde

Dr Swati Shinde graduated with Bachelor’s of Dental surgery in 2009 and initially practiced in Mumbai, India for 7 years. After moving to Canada, she graduated from University of Western Ontario with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr Shinde enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including root canals, extractions and cosmetic dentistry as she is an advocate of “pleasure in every aspect of your job puts perfection in the work.” She regularly attends courses to continue her professional development and stays abreast with the dental field’s latest technology. With the constantly evolving field of dentistry along with the combination of art and science, is what keeps her motivated and grounded. “I believe my profession gives me the ability to make a change in people’s lives by changing one smile at one time. The most important consideration, while treating my patients is to understand each ones specific dental need, educating them and helping them to achieve a good oral health” Outside of work, Dr Shinde loves Indian classical dancing, playing badminton and doing yoga.
