York-Med Dentistry

I dreaded seeing the dentist, so much so, that I put if off for years. I finally got around to trying one again, York-Med was the one I gave a chance to. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and some were surpisingly funny. I was super nervous but their charm put me at ease. The whole process felt thorough and quick, they were very professional. I didn't have to wait more than a minute to see my next staff member. One thing I really appreciate is that they care and value you: They replied to my request for an appointment within an hour, They helped me set up an appointment that best suited my needs, They called me back to double check that my benefits were properly submitted because they didnt want to see me stuck with a surprise bill, They were checking up with me throughout the appointment making sure I was ok. Anyway, it was better than my imagined best case scenario. I do not dread going to the Dentist anymore -- I may even be slightly looking forward to my next appointment. Which is not something I think I'd ever say but York-Med Dentistry has made it true.

I chose York-Med Dentistry as I was looking for a new dental office close to where I live and one that is highly rated. Everyone at this dentistry was so friendly and made sure I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. I really appreciated how Dr. Nodalo explained everything she saw on my scans. Her treatment plan was thoughful and honest, and she took the time to have a conversation with you. There was never any pressure to sign-on to anything. An already great experience was made better by her sense of humour - first time laughing at the dentist! Everyone from Dr. Nodalo to the dental hygenists to the front staff were warm, welcoming, and most importantly - knowledable!

Overall just a great experience. Normally HATE going to the dentist, but this was a pleasant experience. A++ to Marsha for an excellent cleaning. Will definitely be returning!

Staff was great. This is better than my previous dentist

From the moment I stepped in for my first appointment, I was greeted with clean facilities and friendly staff. The staff were knowledgeable and they are very honest. They didn't try to sell me anything and got straight to the main issues and wanted to address those. I'll be going there again.

Received a complete check up with a detailed explanation of what should be done in the future with no pressure to complete the things now.

The replacement dentist was kind and personable, but unfortunately, not very effective in addressing my pain. Additionally, the staff struggled to locate items she requested. I was simply advised to take painkillers until a future appointment, which I find unreasonable given the risks of medication dependency. Another concern was their insurance policy—while they claim to accept insurance, patients must pay upfront and seek reimbursement later. Fortunately, I found another dentist who provided prompt care and accepted insurance without requiring upfront payment. Overall, the experience was neither terrible nor great, but the absence of the primary doctor and surgeon—without prior notice—was disappointing.

It was my first time visiting the York med dentistry and the service I received was outstanding right from the receptionist to the hygienist. I feel I have found my new dental clinic that would provide the care my teeth requires
