Dr. Rahimah Maina

Originally from Kenya, Dr. Rahimah Maina grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and is excited to return to serve the local community in which she grew up. Dr. Maina practices the full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry and believes in working closely with her patients to help them maintain healthy living by providing comprehensive and up-to-date oral care with an emphasis on prevention and education. She combines her keen eye for detail with her compassionate nature to care for her patients as the cornerstone for her practice ideals. Dr. Maina pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After graduation, she practiced in Washington D.C. with a heavy focus on periodontic and prosthodontic treatments before returning to Maryland. She has continued to embrace the dental field’s advancements through continuing education and provides a high level of one-on-one attention, precision, and professionalism, making her a trusted provider in her community. Dr. Maina enjoys engaging with her patients regarding their treatment plans, offering multiple options, and carefully explaining their options to help meet their oral health goals. She takes pride in the feelings of satisfaction and transformation her patients feel when they love their smiles. Dr. Maina is a member of AGD (Academy of General Dentistry), ADA (American Dental Association), and MSDA (Maryland State Dental Association). In her free time, you can find Dr. Maina doing all sorts of fun activities with her family and friends. She especially enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, and learning about different cultures.
