About

Dr. Hesselgesser was born in Provo, Utah and is now married to Maria, who is Brazilian. Together, they have two grown children and are now grandparents. Our doctor lived in both Utah and Nevada when he was growing up. He spent his teenage years in Weber County, where he attended Weber State University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. He then found his passion for dentistry and attended dental school in Virginia at MCV-VCU. He enjoys dental care as he can combine art and science to help his patients feel better and smile more. Since becoming a Salt Lake City dentist, Dr. Hesselgesser has worked at various practices and even had his own practice from 1995 to 2018 in Pleasant View, UT. Since 2014 he has worked as an associate dentist at Legacy Dental, and we feel lucky to have him. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. Away from the office, our dentist likes to cook, look into genealogy, garden, and travel. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
