Dr. John Mansbridge attended McMaster University and graduated with an honours Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by a Master of Science in Biology. During his time at McMaster, Dr. Mansbridge enjoyed teaching as a mentor in the Let’s Talk Science project, working with high school students to help teach them lab skills and develop an interest in the sciences. He attended dental school at the University of Toronto, and graduated with honours as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. John Mansbridge was the recipient of two awards for outstanding clinical performance. During his time at the University of Toronto, Dr. Mansbridge spent time working in the Mount Sinai Hospital Dental Program for Persons with Disabilities, providing dental care to persons with developmental challenges.
