Christopher A. Swayze

Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Chris Swayze completed an Honors degree in Physiology at the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Queens University. Dr. Swayze graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Dentistry in 1993. Following this, he completed a General Practice Residency at Victoria Hospital and University Hospital in London, Ontario. Dr. Swayze worked in private practice in Kingston, Ontario until 2001 before moving to Toronto with his wife, who has completed her medical residency. Dr. Swayze has taught at the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto, Faculties of Dentistry, and acted as the Assistant Clinical Director at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. He has also lectured extensively at numerous dental conferences, including at the Ontario Dental Association annual conference. Dr. Swayze has volunteered his services in several northern communities, Guatemala, Belize, and to homeless teens. Dr. Swayze presently divides his time between acting as the Assistant to the Registrar at the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and at the Danforth Neighbourhood Dental Centre. Dr. Swayze, his wife, and 2 children are proud to be part of the Danforth community.
