Dr. Hasan Alkumru

Dr. Alkumru, DDS, PhD, FRCDC, Prosthodontist, was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed his PhD in prosthodontics in the University of Ankara in collaboration with the University of Birmingham. After returning home from the UK, he became a professor and researcher at Maramara University of Istanbul, and at the same time established his own prestigious prosthodontics office. When he eventually decided to immigrate to Canada, he also became a visiting professor at the University of Toronto. After 2 years, he had started teaching dentistry in Schulich Dental School of Western University. He runs his own specialty office as well, making beautiful oral crowns and bridges, smile makeovers, and full mouth rehabilitations. Due to his character, experience, and knowledge, he is an asset to SmilePoint Dental.
