About

Hi there, I am Dr. Ilana Silber and would like to quickly introduce myself. I have been a dentist in the Toronto area since 2013 and currently practice at DSK Dental in Toronto. I graduated from the University of Toronto as a dentist in 2012 and completed a 1-year residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark (USA). During my residency, I was able to gain advanced training in dentistry for patients with complex needs and awarded with the resident of the year award! My training there allowed me to work with a wide variety of patients, and it taught me how to make patients of all walks of life feel relaxed and comfortable. Especially children. In my spare time, I enjoy being active through running and fitness. I also love to travel and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I take pride in making my patients feel relaxed and comfortable. I truly enjoy working with children and adults of all ages.

    She is very nice and always willing to answer all your questions. Also, she will show the x-ray photos and discuss them with you in detail. The clinique environment is very clean and comfortable.

    Dr Waknine and her team were extremely welcoming as I am transition from an older dentist. She was extremely thorough with her initial examination. Looking forward to my next appointment. Her team is very helpful and super friendly if you are looking for an upbeat environment.

  • A bit more than I expected, but still recommend!

    More expensive than the one I was going to before, but for the amount of things they did, I felt it was reasonable. I liked how everyone was very pleasant and knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. They have good technology that let me see that my concerns were no where near as bad as I thought they were.
