Dr. Matthew Chan

Dr. Matthew Chan is the resident Periodontist at Bond Street Dental Implants Toronto. Periodontists are highly-trained dentists who specialize in not only the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gum disease but additionally in treating oral inflammation and precisely placing dental implants. Dr.Chan has over a decade of periodontal experience. His area of expertise lies in the precision placement of dental implants, including All-On-4 dental implants. He also focuses on bone and soft tissue reconstruction/grafting, cosmetic periodontal surgery, oral medicine and general dentistry. We are proud to have Dr. Chan as our resident Periodontist at Bond Street Dental Implants Toronto. Dr. Chan has been practicing dentistry since 2006. He is a graduate of both University of Toronto (Honours BSc, Masters Sc, Ph.D. [Periodontology]) and the University of Western Ontario (DDS). Additionally, he is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as a periodontics specialist. To be a fellow, you must complete a dental specialty training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CDAC) and pass the RCDC fellowship exam. His work has been published in highly reputable medical journals, and he has been awarded the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award as well as the Baliant Orban Research Competition.
