During her time off, she sharpens her skills as an adjunct professor at the City University of NY. Amongst being a successul optometrist, she is also the mother of 2 insanely intelligent daughters, and our office therapy dog, Yodel. Doc, as we call her in the office, is an avid world traveler and has been to many, many different countries. So ask her for a great story, she has millions! As we said, the doctor here, and staff are family so we invite you to join our ever-growing group! Here we want your visit nothing less than spectacular.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
First things first, were not just an ordinary optical. I like to start a process of what i call "eyeball nirvana." We check not only your prescription but we provide medical services including dry eye evaluations, visual field testing, and many more. So it's more than just checking if you can see or not here .
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
I specialize in contact lens fittings on all ages, especially with multi-focal fits which may take one or more appointment. We also specialize in dry eye evaluation and treatment. Since every patient is different, we cater our services to best meet the needs of the patient.
What are you proud of in your practice?
I am incredibly proud of the teamwork we do here at Cohen's. From the minute you walk in the door to the time you walk out you haven't just seen the eye doctor or bought glasses, you've had an experience. We are very close to our patients and we've been told that even though none of us are related here, we seem like a family! So as I always like to say, come join our family!!
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy all my cases! I know that's very general but all my patients are different and have different cases and different things going on. As stated we are very close to our patients so I enjoy the time I get to spend learning about my patients and teaching them in return.
