Mark completed his Honors Bachelor of Science, with specialization in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. He continued his studies at the University of Toronto where he completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Mark is also committed to being a lifelong learner, pursuing continuing education courses such as soft tissue release, sports/K-taping, acupuncture and completing courses for his Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (CAMPT) diploma. He plans on taking courses in dry needling and running injury prevention in the coming year. During his undergraduate studies, Mark gained extensive outpatient physiotherapy experience working for a chain of private physiotherapy clinics across Ottawa. During his time in Toronto, Mark worked with some of the leading facilities in the country including his time with the Advanced Practice physical therapists at Mount Sinai’s outpatient orthopedic clinic, the Multi-Organ Transplant Unit at Toronto General Hospital and the Neurosurgery and Trauma Unit at St. Michael’s Hospital. Moreover, he volunteered at the IMAGINE clinic, a clinic providing healthcare services to the homeless and underserved populations of Toronto and served as an Executive member on Exercise is Medicine Canada. In his spare time, Mark is a multi-sport athlete, an avid sports fan (Go Raps Go!) and a reader. He is always accepting new patients of all ages, lifestyles and conditions and is looking forward to helping you meet your goals!
