What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
Wellspring provides an enriching and collaborative community for clinicians and their clients. Each clinician at Wellspring is a sole practitioner and manages their individual practice. Clinicians are thus not "assigned" clients, required to maintain a certain case load, or required to work with clients other than those they believe they can help. We come together for weekly consultation teams and case coordination.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
Wellspring consists of well trained, collaborative, and team oriented clinicians who are experts in providing evidence-based treatments. Many of our clinicians are Stanford affiliates and contribute to research and training initiatives in and around the Bay area. Between us, we specialize in treating clients across the lifespan from children, to older adults. For clients requiring multiple services (a psychiatrist for meds and a separate therapist, etc.) we will help you assemble an on-site treatment team of clinicians who will consult together on your case to optimize the care you receive. This level of coordination between providers is the hallmark of larger hospitals and clinics; we aim to provide this caliber of care to our clients, but in a setting that allows clinicians to determine their own case loads so that they can provide sufficient time and resources to their cases.
