Biography
Dr. Alicja Grzegorczyk (ah-LEETS-yah g’zheh-GORE-chick) graduated in 2001 from the Medical University of Gdansk, Faculty of Dentistry, Poland. After moving to Canada she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2012. Throughout her professional career, she volunteered at Dental Fairs, bringing dental awareness to underserved populations. She also participated twice in the DENFAC – a “teach the teacher” educational project of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry – designed for less wealthy nations requiring assistance to advance pediatric dentistry teaching in their countries.

Dr. Alicja’s many years of experience working in the academic setting providing a referral center for the most difficult dental cases, makes her capable of dealing with complex clinical problems of pediatric patients. By creating feelings of ease, confidence in her abilities, and extensive training to provide gentle care, she is capable of relieving anxiety and fear of dental procedures for patients of all ages.
What are you proud of in your practice?
Dr. Grzegorczyk's precision, attentiveness to color, understanding of beauty principles, and ability to incorporate art and science elements into dentistry enable her to bring dental works to life. In 2013, she created AG dentistry – an ultra-modern, friendly and relaxing dental studio, staying up with the latest trends in dentistry.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
An early fascination with dental works of internationally recognized cosmetic dentists, and her move to Canada which exposed her to social trends of staying young longer, amplified her desire to focus on dental procedures that would fulfill esthetic needs of her patients.

The dental hygienist was excellent and made sure I was comfortable during the cleaning and she even tried to get to know me as a person rather than just another patient. Dr. Grzegorczyk was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She included me in her planning and explained everything about my teeth in detail when discussing plans and procedures. She was not pushy when suggesting future treatments but rather very detailed and helpful. She was very pleasant, and talked me through every step that she was doing, explaining why she was doing what she was doing, and even letting me have little breaks. She was very patient and kind, and the staff she has working with her is some of the best I've ever experienced! Now I won't be so anxious to visit the dentist.
