Dr. William Couvelis

Dr. William J. Couvelis has been practicing dentistry in Chicago for over 25 years. His basic philosophy is that form follows function. Dentistry is both an art and a science. Dr. Couvelis takes pride in offering patients the same kind of care that he would want for his own family. He is a 1987 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. In April 1991, he opened North Pier Dental Assoc. P.C. in Streeterville Chicago. Dr. Couvelis takes initiative in receiving the latest information on equipment and advanced techniques. He also believes a professional must be a continuous student, and therefore, has continued to take hundreds of hours in advanced dental training on all phases of dentistry with an emphasis on dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry to further develop his knowledge in these subjects. Dr. Couvelis is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Couvelis has two amazing children; Pauline and Jimmy. When Dr. Couvelis is not spending time with his family, he enjoys water & snow skiing, golfing, and racing motocross.
