Dr. Esam Shawky graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. From 2007 to 2014 he worked as an associate dentist in Keswick and Barrie, where he gained extensive experience in all areas of family dentistry. Dentist himself was kind, organized, thorough and down to earth/kind. When leaving, I had to make other appts and get some info on the coordination with my coverage and insurance, and the girls helping me was great! Dr Esam Shawky is a very nice guy and explains everything fully so you understand all the technical terms. The office has TV’s mounted to the roof for patients to enjoy netflix or just listen to the radio. The dentist also shows you your x-rays on the screen that’s on the roof so you know what’s going on. Dr. S is super thorough and friendly. Mo the hygienist was awesome.. took her time and gave great advice. She didn’t make you feel like a turd if you didn’t floss 5 x day! Direct billing too. Def my new family dentist. Highly recommend.
