Dr. Kevin Rykard

Dr. Kevin Rykard earned his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors, after also earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. So no surprise: he is an avid OU football fan. However, his wife and three daughters went to OSU. Their house is a Bedlam epicenter! Dr. Rykard is passionate about continuing education so he can offer his patients the highest level of care. He takes numerous postgraduate education courses, specifically selecting those that focus on general dentistry to improve his patients’ overall oral health. His training includes the areas of occlusion, root canals and Invisalign™, as well as training at the Misch Implant Institute. He has also completed hundreds of hours of continuing education at prestigious organizations such as The Pankey Institute, The Dawson Center, the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry (LVI), Oral sedation for fearful patients, and the Schuster Center. His most recent training in sleep apnea treatment allows him to offer oral appliances in place of CPAP, to help patients improve their sleep. So, if you are looking for an experienced, multi-specialty dentist at the top of his game, you’ve found him! You can probably see that Dr. Rykard is a perfectionist professionally, but perfectionism is a personal trait too. Beyond his practice, Dr. Rykard enjoys golfing every chance he gets (searching for the perfect swing). And at home, he is in constant pursuit of the perfect sourdough recipe…when he’s not working to perfect his Old Fashioned recipe. A man of many talents who also enjoys spending time with his family – can you say “unicorn”? Dr. Rykard’s commitment to lifelong education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner, with a high emphasis on comfort.
