Alki Dental

I am disappointed in my experience at Alki Dental. My cleaning was not done by a dental hygienist, but rather, mostly the assistant and the dentist for about 10 minutes. No RDH is a big “NO“ in my book. Hygienists are key to oral health success, with their skill and education that a untrained assistant cannot possess. I felt as if my dentist didn’t really care to ask me about my day or get to know me, especially as a new patient. The facility was clean and nice, but I was unimpressed by the lack of time spent with me during my appointment slot.

Everyone was friendly and the cleaning went great. Also great advice for follow up care.

Staff is so nice and very attentive to my needs. Dr. Park re/check and follow up clean my tooth.

Alki sends updates frequently - via text, via email, multiple phone calls - and then doesn't update their own records with your responsive confirmations or requests. I had a follow up for a descaling (totally fine), and confirmed with the staff that our employer switched to a new insurance provider; which also wasn't updated. Was it easy to fix? Yes. But they knew and still asked for information because they had not updated it. Then I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment because of this issue, and still my procedure didn't start until 35 minutes after my scheduled time. Meaning I spent 45 minutes in the office due to their record keeping failure and poor handling of client/staff scheduling in the afternoon. They, like most places, have a cancellation policy that essentially says if I inconvenience them without proper advance notice of a change, I owe them money. Do they owe me anything for the schedule impact? Apparently not. I will be finding a different dental provider going forward.

I have major dental anxiety from severe dental trauma in my childhood. I was handled very gently and not shamed for my dental needs. I will be back

My spouse and I are so glad we switched to Alki Dental after having an awful experience with our previous dentist. The folks at Alki Dental are incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive. They constantly check in to ensure you're as comfortable as possible and thoroughly explain treatment options and procedures. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Dr. Park and the staff at the office made me feel very comfortable despite my nerves. I had a pain-free experience and was given non-judgmental direction from Dr. Park and the hygienist despite not having been to a dentist in ten years. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and I will be a returning customer so long as I am in the Seattle metro.

Alki Dental was very accommodating and attentive. Staff and dentist worked professionally and diligently. Experience from start to finish was easy going and straight to the point. Overall satisfied with the experience, really straight forward.

It was by far the most pleasant dental appointment I’ve ever had. I left feeling well taken care of and confident in my dental health. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist who is both skilled and compassionate!

The staff was friendly and they were quick!

Easy in and out. The only downside is that there is no designated lot. You have to find street parking which can be difficult on the beach.
