I wanted more clarification on the procedures and prices before starting

The team was very gentle and explained every step throughout the process, which made me feel really comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the clinic is clean and welcoming. I was extremely disappointed with the experience. I had provided my insurance information in advance and expected that my examination and dental cleaning would be covered according to my plan. After the visit, I was informed that the examination was not covered and that the cleaning was only partially covered, resulting in an unexpected out-of-pocket payment of >$200. Had I been advised of this beforehand, I would have reconsidered proceeding. In my previous experience with another dental clinic, a pre-authorization was always completed with my insurance provider, so I was very surprised that Art of Smile Dentistry did not follow this practice or communicate any potential costs in advance before billing me. P.S. The examination and the dental cleaning themselves were good in spite of the billing issues.
