Dr. Carolyn Karr

Dr. Karr received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario. Throughout her training, she received multiple academic awards and was affiliated with organizations including Alpha Omega, where she ultimately took on a role as the student President of the Beta Delta Chapter. Following graduation, Dr. Karr completed a 1-year post-graduate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of Connecticut, where she was trained in the management of medically compromised patients and individuals with special needs. Dr. Karr has additionally enhanced her training through the completion of placements in First Nations communities in northern Ontario, as well as in community dental clinics throughout Ontario, Connecticut, and Jamaica. Today, Dr. Karr is an active member of the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations. She strives to keep up with current dental literature and continues to further her knowledge through continuing education and study clubs. Dr. Karr enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes pride in maintaining a relaxed and comfortable environment for her patients at our North York dental clinic. In her spare time, Dr. Karr enjoys cooking, reading and traveling, as well as spending time with friends and family.
