Dr. Mawji is a graduate in dentistry from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and from the University of Toronto. She completed a dental internship at Sunnybrook Hospital. She has been providing dental care to the community of Southern Etobicoke for the last 20 years. Dedicated to learning and professional excellence, she keeps abreast of advancements in dentistry with continuing education courses and memberships in various study clubs. She is an experienced implantologist. She is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the American Academy of Dentistry and Ontario Dental Association. She has worked as a volunteer dentist for children in need in Jerusalem and Nairobi, Kenya. She provided free dental services to street youth at the Shout Clinic on Jarvis Street till it closed its doors and relocated. She has worked with First Nations People in the Western Arctic, Labrador and in James Bay, Northern Ontario. She is a member of the Borna Meissami Commemorative Foundation, CES Canada and the Rotary Club of West Toronto. Dr. Mawji is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Swahili and enjoys traveling, the Arts and swimming.
