What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
If you are feeling lonely, exhausted, stuck, facing difficult relationships or family conflicts, suffering from stress and anxiety or body image and eating issues, then psychotherapy, an active collaboration between therapist and patient, can be a powerful and positive emotional learning experience. My work with people experiencing emotional pain due to traumatic events (recent or in childhood), finding themselves repeating self-defeating behaviors that create relationship and/or work problems, feeling lost, directionless, or believing they are "damaged goods" has allowed them to regain forward momentum in their lives. What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
As a licensed clinical psychologist in a successful practice for over 20 years, my patients benefit from my skill in integrating several therapeutic approaches, including contemporary cognitive, psychoanalytic, and behavioral techniques. I also offer longer-term intensive psychotherapy for people having difficulty defining a strong sense of self. My thoughtful interactive style encourages a relationship of trust in which patients can safely resolve their concerns.
