I've been working a health care professional for most of my adult life. My career has been very diverse. I operated a holistic medical, worked consulting senior corporate management on life transitions, led an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program, supervised and trained post graduate psychologists in providing mental health services to nursing home patients, and completed five year of post graduate training in analysis. I've also had many years of meditation practice. I bring al my knowledge and experience to my ongoing work with my patients.
What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
I have a special orientation and training to treat complex PTSD, anxiety, depression and addictions of all kinds. My office has a very safe, calming, soothing and non-judgmental atmosphere. When appropriate, I teach mindfulness and meditation of my patients.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
I've been a clinical psychologist in practice for over 25 years. I proud of the breath and depth of my experience and that I have contributed to improving the lives of so many patients over the years. I have a ability to to help people who have experienced childhood or adult trauma and who may be struggling with symptoms of complex PTSD and not be aware of why they are in so much distress.
