What are you proud of in your practice?

Removing the stigma associated by patients of dental treatment anxiety is something that Dr. Stern is very passionate about. He takes exceptional pride in his anesthetic delivery techniques and quite often patients are pleasantly surprised at how comfortable treatment can be. In many cases they totally unaware of any discomfort at all during treatment.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Dr. Stern is Board certified by the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine as Diplomat in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, a potential life-threatening disease affecting many aspects of health. Dr. Stern works closely with medical doctors specializing in the sleep medicine to treat this annoying and potentially fatal condition with the use of oral appliances that are custom-made for each patients need. Snoring and Sleep Apnea affect more than just the snorer or apneac that stops breathing many times throughout the night Dr Stern feels; "There is nothing more rewarding in the treatment of patients than improving their quality of life, and quite often, their bed partners as well."

He was not my Dr however the team there was terrific. Very kind/welcoming. Asked me many important and necessary questions. They didn't think it was needed for me to get a filling and told me that the old filling in that tooth is still good for another several years. X ray turned out fine.

Overall appointment was great - but since it was my first time the appointment took much longer than expected (~2hrs) Only complaint is I wish I knew ahead of time that it was going to b¡e a long appointment so I could have planned my day better.
