Daniel completed his medical education and obtained a degree of medicine from Medical School, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China in 1995 and his PhD degree in Kinesiology from Shanghai University of Sport, Shanghai, China in 2007. Growing up being exposed to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at a young age, Daniel has a deep appreciation for the wisdom and healing powers of Eastern medicine. Daniel also has experience working in orthopedic rehabilitation, treating various conditions such as fractures, post-surgical tendon repairs, total joint replacements, as well as acute and chronic sports/workplace injuries. With his education and certifications along with his knowledge on rehabilitation exercises, Daniel can offer his patients a complete treatment program that not only focuses on the acute ailment, but long term health goals and lifestyle improvements. Using a combination of Western philosophies and Eastern knowledge sparked his passion and enthusiasm for holistic health. As a Rehabilitation professional. Daniel believes in a multimodal treatment approach incorporating manual therapy, TCM, acupuncture, exercises and education to help his patients achieve optimal health and restore function. Using these tools, he works to support the body's natural healing process to achieve optimal physical, mental and emotional balance and health. Daniel believes in individualized care, and draws from science and traditional wisdom to address the root cause of disease while providing safe, gentle and effective healing to the whole person. Daniel is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Practitioners.

    Daniel knows his stuff. He carefully listens and diagnoses accordingly. He's keen and perceptive, and understands what needs to be done and how to do it properly. Even during treatment, he continues to inquire and probe to be able to provide and apply the appropriate method on the correct affected area.
