After 2 years teaching abroad in Thailand, she returned to Canada to pursue massage therapy. She graduated from Sutherland Chan School & Teaching Clinic and has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Tennis Coach at Toronto Tennis City where she teaches competitive and progressive adult and junior tennis programs.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

As a caring practitioner, I provide my patients with a relaxing and comfortable environment. I treat every patient specific to their needs and try to help them achieve realistic goals through effective manual therapy and treatment planning. I try to provide the best care possible and enjoy helping others towards better health.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

My top three specialties are myofascial release, trigger point therapy and joint mobilizations. I provide a rhythmic flow to help patients relax their body and feel comfortable within our treatment. I also have experience with myofascial cupping therapy, indie head massage and hot stone therapy to add to my variety of techniques.

What are you proud of in your practice?

I enjoy working with the body and helping others achieve results within our massage therapy treatments. I try to integrate my educational background in prescribing remedial exercises and stretches to assist others in maintaining a healthy body and encourage my patients to continue a healthy lifestyle through proper self-care, exercise and nutrition.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

It's great to work with all different cases. If I can get them feeling better than when they first come in, then that gives me a real sense of accomplishment and motivates me to continue working hard in my practice.

Natalie helped me out with the knots in my neck and back. I had never had a message before so she made sure I was comfortable and explained the process so that I would know what to expect. She always checked in during the massage to make sure I was not in any pain. She was friendly and taught me three exercises to help ease my back pain and stop the knots from coming back.

The process of checking into my first appointment was super fast - I didn't have to wait at all, which was refreshing compared to my previous massage therapist (who often ran late and cut my massages short). The team at Step Up did an excellent job and had a very modern digital check-in form, plus the massage was amazing and I felt great afterwards. Natalie also went above and beyond and offered posture tips and little exercises I can do to alleviate pain during the day. Very pleasant experience, and they were open late which worked well around my 9-5 work schedule. I'll definitely be returning.

  • Great experience!

I had a great experience at Step Up, and Natalie was great! I did not have specific pain, but more just general tightness... and I left feeling loose and pain-free! At the end of the session, Natalie sat down with me, and reviewed areas she found to be especially tight, and provided ways that I could improve this going forward. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming, and I will definitely be back!
