Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
I graduated from the university of Waterloo with both a bachelor of science and optometry degree with honours. I strive for excellence and keep up to date with current innovative education and technology. This has lead me to pursue a fellowship with the College of Vision Development, a leader in vision therapy training. I look forward to bringing new concepts to our optometric practice.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
Vision Therapy - Myopia Control, Concussion therapy, Lazy Vision therapy.
What are you proud of in your practice?
Our patients really trust us with our quality of eye care. Our office is state-of-the-art. We don't rush through appointments. We take the time to educate and communicate with our patients of our findings. We follow through with a recommended plan and post care requirements.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy seeing children and concussion patients. I like seeing children because they can bring such joy in the office room. It sometimes can be a challenge to get results from kids, but learning how to communicate with them is an absolute perk! I also like to re-mediate concussion patients because these patients often have a longtime history of visual related complaints that were never addressed before! I see the greatest achievement in results with these patients by simply helping them with the skills learned during my fellowship in vision therapy.
