Dr. Jonathan Cartile
Originally from the GTA, I completed my chiropractic degree from MacQuarie University in Sydney Australia. I then moved to the UK, where I worked in Scotland and England, with professional athletes and Olympians. I have since come back home and now own the Toronto Wellness Centre to provide top quality chiropractic care to the city of Toronto
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
My name is Dr. Cartile. I have trained and worked all over the world as a chiropractor, so I have a been exposed to many different techniques and have brought the best from around the world to my practice. I use both gentle and manual techniques in practice to tailor each treatment to the specific needs of the patient. I believe that everyone should have their spine checked regularly to keep your nervous system healthy and you feeling great.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
I specialize in Sacro Occipital Technique, which is a great low force technique for babies to the elderly and especially effective for sciatica. I also have done extra training on extremities, including orthotics, and pregnancy and pediatrics.
What are you proud of in your practice?
We have a long established relationship with the downtown Toronto neighbourhood, in providing top quality care. We focus on a healthy lifestyle for every patient that comes through our door. It's not about pain, it's about having your body operate at it's best. We educate everyone on steps to attain that.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
Sciatica patients are a specialty. One of the best joys I get out of private practice is when a patient doesn't need to undergo surgery for their sciatica. Pregnancy is also a fabulous condition to treat. Having a mother tell me that the labour was easy and uncomplicated is a great feeling that the pregnancy care was invaluable. Babies and great as they respond so well and quickly to treatment, knowing that it will change their development for the better is always a great feeling.
