Clement graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy program at University of Toronto and previously obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at McMaster University. He has a strong passion for injury prevention, reducing pain, and enhancing functional performance which stems from his athletic background competing on the varsity badminton team at McMaster University. Clement appreciates the value of manual and active therapy, and believes in helping his clients understand their injury so they can take an active role in restoring their mobility and function. He utilizes a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrical modalities, and education to help clients achieve their goals. Clement is dedicated to being a life-long learner and is committed to advance his physiotherapy skills. He has completed courses in Level 1 Manual Therapy and Soft Tissue Release, and plans on pursuing Acupuncture training and completing his Manual Therapy Levels. When Clement is not working, he spends his free time outdoors, in the gym, or playing badminton, softball, or volleyball.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Instead of treating the symptoms of a problem, Clement focuses on resolving the cause of the issue while managing the symptoms that each client experiences. Clement understands that each person experiences pain and bodily dysfunction differently. Therefore, Clement strives to develop strong relationships with his clients to build a comprehensive treatment plan to achieve their goals.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

1) Manual therapy to decrease pain, increase mobility and function. 2) Exercise prescription for an active approach to recovery. 3) Education of injury and injury prevention.

What are you proud of in your practice?

It always puts a smile to Clement’s face when he sees clients develop a greater understanding of their body, why they experience the symptoms they have, and how to move forward to recover from their injury. There is no better feeling than to see clients progress in their rehabilitation with less pain and more mobility to live out their day-to-day life.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Having competed in different racket and throwing sports, Clement has developed a strong interest in treating shoulder injuries and dysfunction. The shoulder is one of the most complex joints, and Clement enjoys problem solving through its different causes of injury and imbalances.
