Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I like to take an active and in depth role as a health care provider when treating patients. Your health and wellness is my priority, your goal now becomes our goal. That’s why I encourage patients to be active participants in their rehabilitation journey so that you have a better understanding of your injury, and we can work together as a team to achieve your goals as fast as possible. I look to create a personalized treatment plan that will cater to your needs so you receive optimal treatment and prevent future re-occurrences. For me, treatment doesn’t start and stop with you being in the clinic. I make it a point that my patients have my personal contact information so that I can address any questions, concerns or problems that may happen outside the clinic on your path to recovery. I’m committed to be there with you every step of the way.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Spine and joint mobilization, exercise prescription, and myofascial and soft tissue release therapy. Moreover, I work to ensure sure that my treatment is evidence-based and specifically tailored to what you need so you can get back to the activities you enjoy.

What are you proud of in your practice?

Helping others has always been a passion of mine. For over a decade I’ve worked with youth programs in various settings and have realized being able to contribute positively to anyone’s life is a blessing. Working as a physiotherapist has given me a fulfilling opportunity to work with people in my community to promote their health and well-being and I do not take that for granted. I incorporate evidence-based research as well as clinical experience and expertise to ensure that you receive the best treatment, restore function and prevent re-injury.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Whether your injury is old or new, minor or major, or anything in between, what matter’s most to me is how it is affecting your daily life and how we together can get you to where you want to be in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Humza took the time to really understand my issue and my pain. He then was very conscious of running every possible test to figure out the source of the problem before treating it. The treatment was phenomenal - I went from being unable to walk up stairs to being able to walk and jog. Excellent service and treatment.
