Sarah obtained her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2008. She also completed her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2005. Sarah is experienced in Orthopedics, including, sports injuries, postural dysfunctions and post-surgical rehabilitation. Sarah has a keen interest in working with runners and triathletes on injury prevention and management. Sarah is committed to continuing education and has completed Manual Therapy Level 2 and Level 3 Upper Quadrant, with plans to continue to pursue training in advanced manual and manipulative therapy. Sarah is also certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute having completed her Level 1 (Part 1, 2a and 3a). Sarah also has a passion for Yoga. She completed her Ashtanga Teacher training in 2009 and has a unique approach of integrating yoga postures, breathing and meditation principles within therapeutic exercise. She also enjoys working with both new and experienced Yoga practitioners to prevent injury and help take their practice to the next level. Outside of work, Sarah has a passion for the outdoors and trying new activities. She is an avid mountain bike enthusiast and completed her first 24 mountain bike event this past summer in the Yukon. Sarah also completed her first sprint distance triathlon this summer with plans to one day do a full Olympic distance. Along with these more vigorous activities Sarah equally enjoys a walk by the lake, or a hike in the woods, and chasing after her nieces and nephews. Whatever the goal, Sarah strives to help people participate in happy active lifestyles.
